Shaheed Bhagat Singh College (NAAC Accredited ‘A’ Grade) is one of the leading colleges of The University of Delhi, imparting higher education in Commerce, Humanities and Social Sciences for over five decades. It has established itself as a premier institution in the field of commerce education in the country.

The Department of Commerce conducts Three Years Undergraduate Program as per Choice Based Credit System (CBCS) and Master’s Program in Commerce. The Department has an accomplished faculty actively engaged in Research and Teaching. The Department publishes an annual Journal titled- "Journal of Business Studies" to promote research in the area of Business and Management. The Department has also been conducting Annual Research Conferences on Contemporary issues since the year 2009. The Department organized 7th NCBM-2020 on ‘Technology and Innovations: Changing the face of Business’ in January 2020. It successfully organized its very first International E-Conference on Advances in Business and Management in March, 2021 with Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka, University of Tehran (Iran) and Emerald Publishing as academic partners and collaborators.
